Santander’s Christmas campaign surprised families with the Astonishing Treat Machine, a very special ATM that treated customers and their children with gifts for the whole family.

Off the back of the success of last year’s #SecretSantander campaign, Santander wanted to thank their customers for their continued loyalty.
Each year #SecretSantander embraces the Christmas spirit by surprising and delighting their customers in a way that makes a small, but fun difference.
The Astonishing Treat Machine (ATM) – a very special ATM that thanked customers and their children with gifts for the whole family.
Customers were given fun, Christmas-themed tasks to complete before the child-sized ATM would deposit their gift and a little extra cash to help Mum and Dad with this expensive time of the year – all courtesy of Santander. Some lucky customers even got to meet Jessica Ennis-Hill who doubled as the voice behind the ATM.
The film featured both online and on TV over Christmas along with print in Santander branches and Social. All communications focused on saying a big Thank You to everyone who banks with them.
The video had over 1 million YouTube views within the first week as well as national and trade press coverage including The Daily Mail Online.
